Reporting to our Executive General Manager Marketing and External Affairs the Marketing Manager will be part of the team responsible for developing and executing the long term marketing strategy for New Hope Group. This involves but not limited to annual sales budgets and monitoring performance against budget targets to achieve successful alignment and integration with the overall strategic vision.What you will do: Execute coal sales in line with the company strategyCoordinate the domestic and export marketing activities in accordance with agreed contract terms and conditionsAssist with the development of market analysis and pricing forecastsIdentify new commercial opportunities consistent with company strategyLiaise with the mining team on production forecast to pre-empt discrepancies between contracted sales and tonnage, and quality versus forecast mine productionMaintain integrity of Coal Management System (CMS)Monthly reporting and performance management of small team You will bring:Demonstrated leadership experience supported by relevant tertiary qualifications;Commercial and risk identification and risk management experience;Ability to negotiate with internal and external stakeholders;Strong communication skills;Prior mining industry experience with a marketing/logistics focusForeign language skills would be viewed favourablyNew Hope is committed to providing a safe and healthy work environment with the core objective that our people go home at the end of the day unharmed.
