We pride ourselves on the professionalism with which we pursue our goals and our strong links into our community.The OpportunityReporting to the CHPP Maintenance Superintendent, we are seeking a skilled CHPP Maintenance Supervisor to join the CHPP Maintenance Team. The Maintenance Supervisor plays a pivotal role in maintaining equipment reliability and availability by ensuring that work is executed as planned and that emergent work is prioritised to maintain operational capabilities, in an efficient and effective manner.Using your trade background and leadership skills you will ensure safety is maintained and that established maintenance processes are followed by team members and service providers.The role is dynamic and allows for a significant amount of self-direction to achieve business outcomes by working with both team members and external providers to meet the planning cycle timelines, site requirements and planned availability targets.Working a day shift Mon-Thu, Tue-Fri (alternating) roster you will be responsible for:Execution of the weekly schedule as plannedResolution of emergent and breakdown worksPerformance management of direct reportsIdentify skills gaps for direct reports and develop development plansMonitoring compliance to policies and proceduresEffective Supervision of direct reports and service providersDevelop a team culture that promotes inclusion and co-operation across teams and departmentsIncident investigationQualifications and ExperienceThe successful candidate will have:Relevant Trade or Engineering background (electrical desirable)Formalised leadership training (S1-S3 or Cert 4 Frontline leadership or similar)Demonstrated experience in CHPP or Processing Plant Operations with a maintenance focus.Highly developed communication and task management skillsIntermediate computer skills – Microsoft suite (project, excel, word, power point etc)Good interpersonal skills with the ability to build and maintain relationshipsStrong safety focus with a demonstrated ability to promote and encourage safetyTeam orientated player that seeks to raise the skill level of colleaguesAttention to detail and ability to follow processAbility to accept new ideas and embrace change What We Offer    Bengalla values its people and their contribution to the operation.
