With approximately $200M planned spend on this project, and around $700M of broader capital expenditure over the next 5 years, we are seeking a Projects Superintendent to provide leadership of a small team and associated project portfolio.Part of this role will be assisting to set up a major projects framework and to integrate current and future work into this system through engagement with wider NHG project teams. You will lead a small, multi-disciplinary project team, with the potential to explore broader business improvement initiatives.Typical role responsibilities would include:Develop and execute project plans, schedules, whilst managing budgets, key stakeholders including regulatory agencies and local community groups, and monitoring project milestones.Planning, development, implementation and CI-based management of the team project management frameworkIdentify areas for process improvement and develop improvement initiatives to increase operational efficiency, reduce costs, and improve safety and quality standardsProvide assistance and guidance in the preparation and justification of capital applications and related financial approval and procurement processesManage project risks and proactively identify and mitigate potential issuesParticipate in contract negotiations and manage contractor relationshipsEnsure the completion of operational readiness processes to enable the effective integration of projects into operational phasesQualifications and ExperienceProject management – qualifications or competenceA bachelor's degree in engineering, project management, or a related field5+ years of experience in a similar role, preferably within the mining industryProven experience in managing large-scale projects, including project planning, scheduling, and budgetingStrong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to build and maintain positive relationships with internal and external stakeholdersSound knowledge of relevant regulatory requirements, industry best practices, and safety standardsStrong analytical and problem-solving skillsA track record of delivering projects safely, on-time, within budget, and to the required quality standardsProcurement processes including capital applications and tender processesDevelopment, implementation and management of business systems and processesIncident investigation and action managementWell regarded:Advanced to Intermediate use of Microsoft suite including PowerBIBusiness Improvement qualifications or competence including exposure to methodologies and knowledge of the underpinning principles of value-creationSkills and experience with Oracle suite of project systems What We Offer    Bengalla values its people and their contribution to the operation.
