The company currently produces circa 300,000bbl per annum from 12 fields, operates over 100 wells and is exploring in an array of tenements in the states of SA, QLD and VIC.We have an exciting opportunity for a highly motivated person to join our team as a Mechanical Engineer to join our operations team on a permanent full-time basis. The role will also require travel to our field operations in QLD.About the role:Reporting to the Senior Production Engineer, you will be responsible for maximising equipment uptime through effective operations and optimal maintenance practices.This will involve:Develop and coordinate asset integrity inspection programsMaintain manage and improve asset equipment registersScope, design, plan and ensure legislative compliance of brownfield and greenfield facilities and asset integrity projectsAssist in after action review and reporting of all Assert Integrity Incidents and Root Cause Investigations.Provide ongoing engineering support and advice on any technical aspects of equipmentSite visits for regular (2-3 monthly) asset integrity inspections and to support engineering and asset integrity repair projects as required.Update Asset Integrity Management systems (AIMs and PIMP).Implement a standalone Computerised Preventative Maintenance System.Field Implementation of the production operations Management of Change (MOC) system.Producing monthly, quarterly, yearly asset integrity and performance reportsLiaise with field staff where necessary to create optimal and efficient operations.What you’ll need:Bachelor of Mechanical EngineeringDemonstrated experience in asset integrity managementMinimum of 3 years experience in oil and gas operationsAdvanced excel skills and Asset Integrity Management SystemsExcellent interpersonal skills and a ‘Can do’ attitudeWhat you’ll getNorth Sydney/Brisbane based officesPermanent positionFriendly, professional cultureSupport from experienced management teamCorporate discount programs, ongoing learning, and professional developmentBeing part of a company with progressive views on energy productionEfficient, safe, productive operationEnjoy the benefits that come from working with Bridgeport Energy – a company where values matter, people are important, and diversity is valued.
