Based in Acland, a short drive north-west of Toowoomba NAC has played a key role in the Darling Downs region as an employer and economic contributor since it began operation in October 2002.As our mine grows, we are excited to offer the next great opportunity for an Operations Trainer and Assessor (7/7 Roster) to join our Health, Safety, Environment and Training Team based on site in Acland and reporting to the Health, Safety and Training Superintendent.What you will be doing:The Operations Trainer and Assessor will prepare and deliver training and assessment needs for the Production, Maintenance and CHPP teams to ensure operational standards are met and maintained.   • Confined Space, Work at Heights, and Forklifts would be advantageous
  • Minimum of four (4) years’ experience in either mining operations as an operator and/or maintenance trades person
  • Certificate IV in Training and Assessing (TAE40116 or TAE40122) or Enterprise Trainer Certification
  • Supervisor Competencies (S1/2/3) (current or being willing to obtain)
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Time management skills and ability to complete tasks in a timely manner
  • Attention to detail
